The game’s story takes place three years after the events of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex.
The original idea for Crash Twinsanity Ppsspp Emulator was Crash Bandicoot Evolution, and it was intended to be more serious than previous games. Traveller’s Tales decided to restart development of Crash Twinsanity PPSSPP Download as a comedic game in which Doctor Cortex would be joined up with Crash as a way of exploring his character because the game’s idea was similar to Ratchet & Clank. Lex Lang, who replaces outgoing actor Clancy Brown as Doctor Cortex’s voice in the game, makes her voice acting debut. Due to time limitations, a number of concepts were dropped from the game during development; however, they were later added as unlockable extras.

Three different characters—Crash Bandicoot, Doctor Neo Cortex, and the brand-new Nina Cortex—that the player controls throughout the game switch between various levels. The primary character, The Crash, has the ability to jump into the air and land on enemies, turn like a cyclone to throw enemies off-screen, slide across the ground, and perform a body slam to destroy specific things. Nina uses her mechanical arms to punch enemies and lock onto far-off edges while Cortex uses a raygun with a limited supply of ammo.
